Cracking reserve. Friendly volunteers willing to help. Great birds seen on the day. Will go again and try the spring next time. Good for all ages.
Great place to walk and get away from it all.
Visited st Aidan's today has the pleasure to witness a Kingfisher and an Egret fly past me. I also spotted a male reed bunting. What a treat.
Love this place. Lovely walk round n beyond if it takes your fancy. Approx three miles if u do the full perimeter. Sometimes advised not to let your dog swim in the water due to blue black algae, i always make sure my dogs dont regardless of warnings or not. Cafe now open n ample car parking but not sure if it's free parking. Many just park on the roadside. I'm able to walk from family house.
Stunning, especially when the sun is out. A simple, perimeter walk is available with many different offshoots and desire paths to other areas. Several bridges cross the River Aire and into neighbouring villages. Parking area is free for members but 3 if not. Bring your binoculars!
